10 SIDE EFFECTS OF HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGERY

Mane matters could be very tricky and one has to pay attention to all factors before they take that huge leap such as undergoing a surgery for correcting the existing condition. This holds true if one wants to undergo laser therapy or a hair transplant surgery.

What Happens During The Surgery?

This is a medical procedure in which a medical practitioner moves hair from a lush area to a lean area in the head. Most likely the lush area will be at the back side and the lean are along the crown region. The person undergoing the surgery is given local anesthesia to numb the region over which the transplant will happen.

The actual process involves the surgeon to punch holes in the area which needs more hair using needles. Then hair that is collected from the lush area are placed inside these holes and stitched to keep them firmly. In some cases more than one hair could be required to fill a single hole. This way hair is to be filled in all holes followed by stitching. The entire process will happen in sessions based on recovery from each session. The stitches would have to stay for about 10 days after which they will be removed. The entire process of transplant may take about three or four sessions of 4 to 6 hours each.
